The memorial created in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was opened to the public today!
The official dedication is on Sunday August 28...
Tje sculpture is 30 Feet tall! & I can't wait to see it!
The memorial is the first on the National Mall that honors an African American and the first that honors a person who did not serve as president...
So glad that I'm able to just hop on a train and view this monumental memorial!
Sometimes I take for granted how important/amazing D.C. really is!
