Exfoliate Me Baby.

Ok so clear, beautiful, perfect skin has always been an issue for me.
Tiffany and I are always trying out new face products and researching different products to use on our skin.
With me living in New York City it is very important that I get all the gunk that sticks on my skin from being out!.... ICK!
Cleansing my skin twice a day is apart of my daily routine but exfoliating 3 to 4 times a week is also very helpful when it comes to keeping your skin healthy, smooth and glowing.
I thought that I would share two different exfoliating products that I have used in the past to help you if your looking for healthy, glowing skin.

1: St. Ives Apricot Scrub

Currently, I am using St. Ives Apricot scrub 3 to 4 times a week. This scrub works wonders and is super affordable. This product retails at any drug store including CVS, Rite Aid, Duane Reade etc. The prices may vary but I purchased this product for only 6 bucks!!
Ever since I purchased it, I have gotten plenty of compliments on my skin and blemishes have disappeared!

This product is all natural and includes ingredients including Apricot, Willow Chamomile, Sunflower, Primula and Sambucus Nigra blossom extracts which are all great for the skin. This scrub has the perfect consistency and it is not too harsh on the skin.
I would recommend this to anyone.

2: TimeWise Microdermabrasion Set
This Mary Kay microdermabrasion set is also a great product to use to exfoliate your skin.
There are two steps to using this product which include refine and replenish.

Step 1: Refine is an advanced exfoliator using the same professional grade exfoliating crystals used by dermatologists, to immediately energize skin and reveal more radiant, healthy-looking skin. (Marykay.com)

Step 2: Replenish separates the set from the competition. It's a rich serum, containing vitamins, antioxidants and anti-irritants. This serum nourishes the soft, smooth skin revealed by Step 1: Refine.(Marykay.com)

This set is $55 and works just as well as going to the dermatologist for a microdermabrasion treatment. This product will leave your skin healthy, glowing and smooth.
If you are interested in purchasing go to http://www.marykay.com and find a sales person near you.
I would also recommend this set to anyone!

Note:
Remember when exfoliating rub your cheeks in a upper ward counter clockwise motion to keep from pulling the skin down. Pulling the skin down ward can cause skin to look aged.

I would recommend exfoliating at night before you go to sleep.... its just a personal preference. If I was to go out after exfoliating, I just think that defeats the purpose since my skin is going to get exposed to more dirt.

Also, what works for some people doesn't always work for others... even though I loved these products they may not work as well for another person... just keep that in mind.

I hope this information was helpful. :]

  1. Microdermabrasion is very good treatment for resurfacing skin. It removes acne scars, dead skin, black heads, wrinkles and many more. There are no side effects of it.

  2. Its all depends on your skin. It is better to do after some time otherwise you have to spend more time for getting recovery.
