'In what may be a sign of the changing shopping habits of luxury consumers, premium online retailer Net-A-Porter and fashion legend Karl Lagerfeld have joined forces to announce the launch of an online-only brand called Karl.
On the first day of tech conference Le Web in Paris, the buzz was about surprisingly un-nerdy news: the reveal by Natalie Massenet, founder and executive chairman of Net-A-Porter, that her company would be working with Lagerfeld on a new online fashion brand, called Karl.
Karl will go live on January 25, and is being pitched as the first global launch of a fashion brand that will be sold entirely online. No images have been released to give an indication of the label's debut collection, so we'll be refreshing our browsers on repeat come January next year! '
Love this idea.
I'd love my own online fashion brand!
I'll def be on the lookout for this, I want to see what looks they come up with!
